My name is James Luscombe. I believe in the power and importance of passion. I believe that art and creative expression are the greatest of all human attributes. Without writing, music, painting, sculpture and all the countless other forms of art that surround us, life would be unbearable and lack the richness and beauty that we so often take for granted.
It is in my spirit, my very soul, that I seek to recognize and appreciate the beauty around me. I strive to never stop seeing beyond the superficial, surface of the world I live in. I want to see beyond the vail of the mundane, the ordinary, the overlooked.
I want my work to represent the simple, honest beauty that I see around me. I want to create a body of work that reminds it's audience that there is inspiration everywhere. That we must each take the time to look, listen and embrace the world around us and give ourselves permission to revel in the depth, beneath the surface.
