Six days in Maine

These photographs were taken in April, 2007 while I was in Maine for six days. They cover a fairly diverse range of subject matter, but I feel they all capture something special about each of their subjects.

In June, 2002 I took a cross-coutry road trip with my best friend Scott and his brother, Tim. We drove from Portland, Maine to Santa Rosa, California and back in 11 days, with two days spent at the Grand Canyon. These are some of my favorite images from that trip. All of these photos were taken with a Creative Labs webcam. I will post more in the near future.

James, if you put an rss button somewhere on your blog, I can add you to my blog feeds and keep up with you. (Bloglines doesn't recognise you, so it won't let me subscribe)

(As an aside) If it takes me twenty years to figure things out, think about what I'm missing right now, that I'll be nearly sixty by the time I figure it out. Crap!

Speaking as someone who is nearly 60 (58) I can
promise you that while you may be closer to figure things out, you will also realize that you are farther away from figuring things out (zen wisdom) but the good news is that you won't give a crap about figuring it out, you will just accept the "is"

I had an ultra conservative Catholic upbringing, yet always questioned it's teachings. Now I seek inner peace, free of all the guilt trips and restrictions. I am a better person for it!
